In order to stand out from the competition, employees need to understand changing customer behaviour, grasp different sales techniques, improve product knowledge, deal with trade suppliers, understand merchandising and product display, and work with increasingly complex IT systems for stock control and reporting.

The Retail Apprenticeship is aimed at new employees and those experienced in the retail environment, giving them a full knowledge of retail practices, techniques and disciplines.
